Much to the annoyance of WWE official Adam Pearce Ronda Rousey has had her WWE suspension lifted.
In the words of Pat McAfee, Adam Pearce has snapped!
On the September 2nd edition of SmackDown Ronda Rousey came to the ring with a letter in hand, as an expectant crowd waited to see what chaos the ‘Baddest Woman on the Planet’ would cause this week.
Rousey got on the microphone and asked for Adam Pearce to come to the ring and read out the notice. As a smug Rousey chipped in with her own asides, Pearce read that while Rousey had been unprofessional, the WWE Board of Directors didn’t find her conduct to be criminal. Rousey had previously been arrested for showing up on SmackDown and attacking security.
The end result was that Rousey was reinstated, but would remain on probation. Although to say that Pearce handed this news badly would be a spectacular understatement.
The official ranted about keeping two shows running, complaining that he gets no thanks or appreciation for his efforts. As Pearce continued he said that he would have fired Rousey, although he didn’t have a problem with Board of Directors’ decision, he has a problem with the former UFC star.
Pearce again insulted Rousey and called her a “bitch” which caused the star to attack him and lock in an Arm Bar.
It had earlier been reported that Ronda Rousey will miss Clash At The Castle on September 3rd despite previously being scheduled for the event.
Rousey lost her SmackDown Women’s Championship to Liv Morgan at Money In The Bank, and was unsuccessful in her attempts to win the title back at SummerSlam. Following the match at the summer spectacular, Rousey attacked Morgan and a referee, earning herself a fine and a suspension.
