Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder 2022: The much awaited new Urban Cruiser High Rider from Toyoya has unveiled the prices. The car with this mild-hybrid petrol engine was introduced in July this year and has been brought with self-charging technology.
The Urban Cruiser High Rider has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 15.11 lakh. At the same time, its price has been kept at Rs 18.99 lakh for the top model. The Highrider has been brought in a total of four variants and its booking has already been started.
In the powertrain of the Toyota hyryder, you get to see the segment's first self-charging technology. Toyota's self-charging hybrid electric vehicle uses a gasoline engine and an electric motor. It is powered by a 1.5-litre engine mated to an e-drive transmission. Its engine output is 68 kW and it is capable of generating 122Nm of pickup torque. At the same time, its motor output can generate power of 59 kW and torque of 141Nm. Also, both the motors together are capable of generating an output of 85 kW.
Toyota Urban Cruiser High Rider is equipped with features like touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounting point. It gets six airbags, ABS traction control with EBD, hill-hold and hill start assist Feytires. Also, the vehicle has been equipped with features like free-standing touchscreen infotainment, HUD, panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents and climate control. Apart from this, safety features like three-point seat belts and adjustable headrest have been included in the vehicle.
