Comica Audio has announced the VM10 Pro, which they are touting as being the smallest, most compact shotgun cardioid microphone on the market for shooting video and live streaming.

The VM10 Pro can be used with anything from iPhones, Android smartphones, laptops, and computers, up to mirrorless hybrids and digital cinema cameras. The microphone will work with devices that have a 3.5mm or USB-C input.

The shotgun microphone has been designed to be plug & play and it features one-touch switching between digital and analog modes, real-time monitoring, and stepless gain control in digital mode so that users can adjust the volume to their needs.

The VM10 Pro utilizes a cardioid directional polar pattern that is claimed to help reduce unwanted sounds from the sides and rear by targeting and isolating the sound source to eliminate background noise.

The microphone’s shock mount features a super anti-interference function that is claimed to reduce noise from vibrations.

The VM10 Pro doesn’t require any batteries as it draws power from the device it is connected to.

The microphone has dimensions of 1″ x 3.6″ (22mm x 92mm) and it weighs 1.3 ounces / 37g.

The VM10 Pro is priced at $52 USD and includes the microphone, shock mount, 3.5mm TRS-TRS audio cable, 3.5mm TRS-TRRS audio cable, USB C-USB C audio cable, wind muff, carrying case, and manual.

It is now available to pre-order.
